With comparison to nokia n900, the on board memory is less
n900 has 32 GB and n97 mini has only 8 GB
But the price for both the mobiles are same which seems to be a bit absurd.

well if u want a flashy fone with gr8 features but arent much interested much in photography i wud suggestu go for apple iphone 3gs thats gr8 on looks and everything else compared to its counterparts… but if u need much better camera with other gr8 features nokia n97 (mini or not) should be a better choice… so enjoy wid ur new fone…

I m sorry abhishek but I don’t really think you guys should go for iphone since it has got a lot of drawbacks and it kind of hurts when you touch the screen.I have had it and it hangs a lot.So i think you should go for HTC.Its a gr8 fone….

I totally agree with sneha. i’ve been a very loyal customer of nokia but when it comes to features and applications i found HTC touch pro 2 to be ‘much above’ these all phones people are talking bout. its a bit heavy on prising but i think its worth it. check the online reviews guys and m sure u will agree with me.

Hi, Guys I just want to know whether Nokia N97 Mini Has Mobile Office and zip manager or not, I bought Nokia 5800 Music Express but It didn’t had Office in it nor any Zip manager was there so I had to sell out making 5000 loss
Great Phone Really . I got it Today for 29000 /- . Camera quality is also Superb With Carl Zeis optics . Yes It Has Office embedded within it . I have not checked compressed files can be managed within IT , but there are several Applications in Ovi Store ( Nokia Online Shopping) that deals with Compressed .

Hi. Friends….dis is raj. I like u say u something…I.e though nokia’s n97 is a smart phone but it is not at all smart enough to iPhone 3GS. First of all iPhone is the only phone in the world with multi touch technology because apple has pattended it.! Where as nokia’s n97 is a general touch screen mobile. Second one is N97 runs on symbian os(S60 V5) which is only a baby software when compared to iPhone because iPhone runs on OS X. the reason for using such a software in mobile is to bring desktop class to mobile phone. When iPhone is connected to iTunes it automatically creates a back up and syncs ur data. No other mobile is capable in doing it. When graph is compared for smartness and userfriendly interface iPhone stands right at the top than blackberry.,htc.,treo., etc. It has an widescreen iPod. Worlds best voice command operated. Many and many other features. Presently I’m on iPhone 3GS. I’m sure that no other mobiles are comparable with iPhones. Once have an iPhone in ur hand then u’l come to know y people calls u have to be fortunate to use apple products.

Why are you comparing lemon,micromax,spice,onida .These phones not having advance feature.They are just for those people who are buying phones for calling only or just have mp3 player.Cons of these phones mp3 player is rubbish poor camera quality,no 3g enabled ,not having special feature.You can buy a phone for rs 500 only.

I checked recently in Cochin, Kerala with nokia dealer, the final price of Nokia N97 mini (black) was told INR:22700. However I checked in US sites like deals2buy dot com, some times the price is as low as $380 which is INR 17860. Planning to get one from friends in US. any comments?

There r many differences between n97 and n97mini.
D regular n97 has 32 gb internal storage compared to n97 mini has only 8gb. The screen size of d regular is 3.5 inches whereas d mini version has 3.2”
(Which is a lot more comfortable in hand) the interface has been improved and it doesnt hang as much as d original. Overall d mini version is a winner as it is very much cheaper than d huge n97 widout much differences.
